A two time Collegiate Sailing All American, Inland Lakes and National Champion with two Olympic campaigns under his belt, Kevin Jewett has been living out and sharing his passion for sailing for over 25 years. From his first job as a finisher in a sail loft to his work today with students and owners he takes time to understand and define goals with his clients and then works to help accomplish them. Currently active as a professional sailor in the Melges 20, 24, A and E Scow classes and youth racing coach in the Optimist, Club 420 and Laser Classes he is either racing or coaching 3-4 weekends a month. As Director of the Geneva Lake Sailing School, Kevin started windsurfing and adaptive sailing programs, built a national Optimist Dinghy team, improved the quality of their fleet of 64 boats, while raising revenue through increased registrations and donations. He has also played a critical role in planning for the Buddy Melges Sailing Center, an initiative that has raised over $2 Million and will create a state of the art training and racing facility.

Now here in Charleston, Kevin has already started making a difference. In the year and a half he has been here, Kevin has been able to help develop a budding group of sailors with exciting potential!
